Protecting your account with 2FA

Enabling Two-Factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account

Updated over 2 months ago

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your SimpleVox account by requiring a second step to log in—typically a time-based code from an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

We highly recommend enabling 2FA to help protect your business communications and customer data.

What You’ll Need

  • Access to your SimpleVox account

  • An authenticator app installed on your mobile device (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator)

How to Enable 2FA

  1. Log in to your account at simplevox.net

  2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings

  3. On the Settings page, click Two-Step Verification

  4. Follow the steps to:

    • Scan the QR code with your authenticator app

    • Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm setup

Once confirmed, 2FA will be enabled and required the next time you log in.

Pro Tip

We recommend saving your recovery codes in a secure password manager. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you'll need these codes to log in.
